Inclusive Homework Club is governed by a committee. They’re passionate, committed and responsible for the general governance and oversight of the Inclusive Homework Club's work.
Every decision they make helps move the Inclusive Homework Club forward, so together we can support even more children and young people.

Chair Qualified with Masters In operations and Business Management, he currently works for Abellio ScotRail for 15 years, has lived experience as a refugee and now supports the board with his experience and how to support vulnerable group. He is also a founder of the father’s club which helps people with mental health and well being. Shariff is also a committee member of the Bajuni community and a secretary of GIFA (Glasgow Islamic Funeral Association)

Secretary I qualified as a secondary maths teacher in 2006 and taught maths at INTO University Partnerships, the international school at Glasgow Caledonian University from 2010 until last year. Since 2014 I have also taught applied mathematics at Glasgow Caledonian University. Between 2008 and 2012 I ran a business in Glasgow providing tuition in Maths and English to primary and secondary pupils. I hope to bring my knowledge and experience to assist the Inclusive Homework Club.

Parent My background is in Business and IT and I currently work in the Telecoms industry. I have taken various voluntary roles that focus on helping those in my community, particularly from the BAME community. This drive comes from my own reflection of how I faced challenges at school and work and how I didn't have the social network support that I often needed. I want to be able to do what I can, to give the children of today, the confidence to be different but as capable as anyone.

Another reason is, some of the students don’t have educated parents to help them with their homework and their parents don’t have money to employ private tutors, therefore, I decided to join to help in my small way "
